Any hire company who can demonstrate an effective, printed hire catalogue. Entries are welcome from all sizes of outlet, in all sizes of company, from all sectors can enter for this award.

The winning catalogue will demonstrate, through its design, production and distribution that it best communicates the business’ products, prices, terms and ancillary information to its customers.

Hire Industry Website of The Year

This award is open to any hire company who can demonstrate an innovative and effective hire and rental website. Entries are welcome from all sizes of outlet, in all sizes of company, from all sectors.

The winning of this award will be able to demonstrate to the judges an innovative, effective, clear and attractive website that is quick and easy for its users to navigate.

Best Product of The Year

The winning product will show outstanding suitability for the hire industry. This will be achieved through effectiveness for its intended purpose, quality of design and manufacture, practicality of servicing and maintenance and durability in the hire environment. It will also have been launched in the period since May 2008

Employee/Team of The Year

The winner(s) in this category will demonstrate a consistent record of professionalism in their contribution to their company.

Excellence In Training

The winning nomination will demonstrate a comprehensive and effective employee training programme that contributes to the success of the company.

Excellence In Customer Care

The winning nomination will have demonstrated to the judging panel, the existence of a clear and structured policy which delivers the highest standards of customer care and service.

This Award is intended to recognise work done to promote and improve health and safety within the hire industry, or for users of hired equipment.

Any form of health and safety initiative can be entered for the Awards, including training programmes, information systems, user guides, design projects and engineering solutions to health and safety problems. Entries are welcome from all sizes and types of enterprise

Best Contribution To Environmental Issues

This Award is intended to recognise work done to promote and improve health and safety within the hire industry, or for users of hired equipment.

Any form of environmental initiative can be entered for the Awards, including training programmes, information systems, user guides, design projects and engineering solutions to environmental issues. Entries are welcome from all sizes and types of enterprise.

The winner in this category will demonstrate that they have made an outstanding contribution to the development of the hire industry throughout the previous year. This can be achieved individually, or through leadership of their company.
